HRV Call for EOI from Young Participants

HRV is calling for nominations for the Young Participants' Forum, which will be chaired by CEO Matt Isaacs and supported by Chief of Staff Gemma Holden, Workforce Development Manager Jenni Lewis, Community Engagement and Development Partner Kima Frenning and nominated industry members.

What does it involve?
The Young Participants’ Forum representatives will:

🐴 Work with HRV to develop and enhance various work streams within harness racing in Victoria
🐴 Examine HRV’s strategy and provide feedback on improvements and concerns
🐴 Assist HRV departments on specific projects (e.g. racing calendar)

Selection criteria
Nominees must be current participants (licensed trainers, drivers or stable hands, owners or BREEDERS) aged under 35 and will be shortlisted based on:

🐴Their understanding of harness racing in Victoria
🐴Ability to listen to others and liaise with various stakeholders
🐴Willingness to problem solve and work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.

Process
Interested nominees should complete this nomination form by 5pm on 19 November. All applications will remain confidential.

Applications will be shortlisted by the Executive Leadership Team and then submitted to the HRV Board for approval. Nominees will be notified of their selection or otherwise thereafter.
