Every horse in the Melbourne catalogue is eligible to win one of four Best Presented Yearling Awards - a colt and a filly of each gait - designed to celebrate and reward the skill and professionalism of preparers and their staff.

Judge Dr James Gilkerson (Professor of Veterinary Microbiology at University of Melbourne) will make his selection using the following criteria:

* Conformation, muscle development & athleticism
* Presentation of handler
* Coat condition
* Behaviour during inspection & presentation during parade
* Overall impression

Presentations will be made following the Woodlands Stud Oaklands Yearling Parade on 1PM Saturday 1 April 2023.
